The signal drops.

The payments don't.

Sale locks offline. Bank settle when signal returns — no wallet, no spinner at the stall.

Your Signal Is Down.
Our Business Model Doesn't Care.

We build offline QR UPI for the exact second your venue's signal dies. Fan locks the sale. Vendor sees it land. Bank settles when the network remembers how to network.

How it works

scan. pay. sync. — three beats, zero bars required at the stall.

1 · SCAN

Point at the vendor QR

No NFC. No card reader. Fan scans the stall QR — same motion you'd use for any UPI QR, built for dead zones.

2 · PAY (OFFLINE)

Phone signs & queues it

Payment is cryptographically signed on-device and locked in the queue. Fan and vendor both know the sale went through — signal optional.

3 · SYNC

Settle when signal returns

On reconnect, a one-time UPI Autopay mandate draws from the fan's bank and routes to the vendor. No Surge wallet. No top-up.

Burning Questions, Answered Before the Bar Runs Out

The stuff people actually ask us, minus the corporate answers.

Do I need signal for this to work?
Not at the stall. Scan a QR, phone signs the payment, sale locks offline. Settlement waits for signal — you don't.
Is the money in the vendor's bank instantly?
No — and we won't pretend it is. The sale locks offline so nobody argues at the counter. Bank settle runs when devices reconnect via UPI Autopay. Vendor sees paid vs pending the whole time.
Is this a wallet? Do I top up?
No wallet. No Surge cash. Fan authorizes a one-time UPI Autopay mandate; money pulls from their bank on settle. Vendor payouts don't sit in our account.
Tap-to-pay / NFC?
No. Scan a vendor QR. That's the whole interaction model: scan. pay. sync.
Does this work if I'm not a giant venue?
Merch table, bar cart, a guy with a fanny pack full of cash: if you're selling anything at an event with bad reception, Surge's for you. Pilots start small on purpose.
